The next delivery brings two heavyweight jackets from Carhartt WIP's OG range, the OG Detroit Jacket and the OG Active Jacket, plus the L/S Madison Cord Shirt, all made from proper workwear fabrics and built for the colder months. Carhartt WIP OG Detroit Jacket 'Dearborn' Canvas
The Detroit Jacket is Carhartt's most iconic piece, and the OG version sticks closely to the original. It's cut from 100% cotton Dearborn canvas in a loose, boxy fit with dropped shoulders and a short body, then stone washed so it feels broken-in from the first wear. Inside there's a blanket lining through the body and smooth nylon taffeta in the sleeves, finished with that classic contrast corduroy collar. Carhartt WIP OG Active Jacket 'Dearborn' Canvas
Prefer a hood? The OG Active Jacket is Carhartt's hooded work jacket, made from 12oz organic cotton Dearborn canvas with a diamond-quilted lining that keeps you warm without the bulk. It's got an adjustable hood, rib-knit cuffs and hem, a kangaroo front pocket and triple-stitched seams, and like the Detroit it's stone washed for a lived-in look straight away.

Carhartt WIP L/S Madison Cord Shirt
The Madison Cord Shirt is the easy one to wear under either of the jackets above. It's a regular-fit button-down in 8-wale cotton corduroy with a curved hem and an embroidered Carhartt WIP 'C' logo on the chest. Wear it buttoned up or open over a tee as a light layer.

What's the difference between the Detroit Jacket and the Active Jacket?
Both are made from Dearborn canvas. The Detroit Jacket has a corduroy collar, a blanket lining and a short, boxy body. The Active Jacket has a hood, a diamond-quilted lining and rib-knit cuffs and hem, so it's a little more casual and sporty.
Do Carhartt WIP OG jackets fit true to size?
The OG range is cut in Carhartt's original loose fit. Most people take their usual size for a roomy, workwear look, or size down for a closer fit.
What does stone washed mean?
The finished garment is washed with stones to soften the canvas and fade the colour slightly, so it looks and feels broken-in from day one rather than stiff and new.
