Patina is at 11 St Martins, Leicester LE1 5DE, in the heart of the city centre, a short walk from The Highcross, Leicester Cathedral and the Clock Tower. We're open seven days a week:

• Monday to Saturday: 11am to 6pm

We're a small, independent shop, run by brothers Christian and Christophe Eldridge, who were born and raised in Leicester. We opened in August 2024. It's a relaxed place to shop. The music matters, the conversation is easy, and you don't need to buy anything to come in and have a look. On a Saturday you'll often find friends spinning records.

Yes. Leicester sits right in the middle of the Midlands, so Patina is an easy trip from across the region:

• Nottingham: around 30 minutes by train or car.
• Derby: around 30 minutes by train, or 40 minutes by car.
• Coventry: around 40 minutes by car via the M69.
• Birmingham: around an hour by direct train or car.

Leicester train station is roughly a 15-minute walk from the shop, so it's an easy day out. We're open on Sundays too, so make a weekend of it, grab some food in the city centre and come and say hello.
