Patina stocks a curated selection of Deus Ex Machina, Leicester's home for the Sydney-born label that has built a global cult following around motorcycles, surfing, craft and a deeply considered approach to clothing. Deus Ex Machina, often shortened to Deus was founded in Sydney in 2006 by Dare Jennings, a veteran of the surf and music industries, as a custom motorcycle workshop and clothing label operating out of a single Camperdown garage.

What is Deus Ex Machina?
From that single-garage starting point, Deus has grown into a globally recognised brand with outposts in Bali, Milan, Los Angeles, Tokyo and beyond, while retaining the handmade, workshop ethos that defined it from day one. The clothing reflects the brand's world: sun-bleached, well-worn, and shaped by the people who ride, surf and build things with their hands.
