What is Deus Ex Machina?
Deus Ex Machina was founded in Sydney, Australia in 2006 by Dare Jennings — a veteran of the surf and music industries — as a custom motorcycle workshop and clothing label operating out of a single Camperdown garage. From that starting point, Deus has grown into a globally recognised brand with outposts in Bali, Milan, Los Angeles, Tokyo and beyond, while retaining the handmade, workshop ethos that defined it from day one. The clothing reflects the brand's world: sun-bleached, well-worn, and shaped by the people who ride, surf, and build things with their hands.
