About Born X Raised

Born X Raised (often shortened to BXR) is a Los Angeles streetwear label built on real community rather than trend-chasing. It was started in the early 2010s by Chris "Spanto" Printup and Alex "2Tone" Edermann. Spanto grew up in Venice, on LA's Westside, and the brand began as a way to document the city he knew: its neighbourhoods, its characters and a culture that was being pushed out as the area changed around it.

The brand's graphics run through Old English lettering, rocker-style scripts, West Coast iconography and a distinctly LA attitude, drawing on the city's punk, hip-hop, skate, surf and Chicano cultures. Over the years Born X Raised has worked with names like Nike, Levi's, the LA Dodgers and LAFC, without ever softening its message. Spanto sadly passed away in 2023, and the brand carries on today with the people who built it alongside him. That identity carries through every piece in the AW26 range, from the tees through to the caps.

Every tee in the range is cut from the same 6.5oz cotton in a 3-end construction, giving each one more texture and body than a standard single-jersey t-shirt, in a relaxed, slightly boxy fit.
