Living Proof Issue 10 highlights William Strobeck, filmmaker and director based out of New York. Strobeck is best known for his work in skateboarding, creating videos such as Supreme’s “Cherry” in 2014 and “Blessed” in 2018. His skate videos are extremely recognisable due to his signature look and feel that consist of fast pasted sequences, up close and personal shots. After “Cherry” released, Strobeck played a major role in shaping Supreme’s creative vision which contributed to the overall growth and success of the brand post-2014. While still collaborating with Supreme to this day, a lot of Strobeck’s focus is also on Violet skateboards where he highlights a whole new roster of up and coming young talent. Strobeck is joined in conversation with American Film maker Gus Van Sant, known for his films such as Good Will Hunting and My Own Private Idaho. Issue 10 also features Grant Taylor from Anti Hero, Violet’s Troy Gipson, Kyonosuke Yamashita from Asics. As well as iconic graffiti legends MKUE 246 and BEGR D30. This issue also highlights Bear Myles, Japanese artist Haroshi, PROV Tokyo, Uncle Paulie’s Deli, Little Tokyo Table Tennis and many more.
